Free AI assistant for email responses

Addy.ai - A.I. Email Assistant is a free-to-use productivity tool developed by Michael V. This is an OpenAI-powered extension for Google Chrome that lets an AI chatbot generate your email drafts for you. Whether it’s for cold messages or for replying automatically, you can set and program the bot to do these otherwise troublesome tasks.

Aside from simply creating bodies of text for you, Addy.ai - A.I. Email Assistant also allows its users to select a particular kind of tone that works best for their specific needs. However, this convenient tool only works with Gmail.

For convenient, natural-sound replies

In terms of app layout, Addy.ai - A.I. Email Assistant works a lot like Grammarly for Chrome. It requires you to add the app as an extension, sign up for an account, and grant access to the Gmail account you will be using it for. Once done, Addy.ai automatically opens a tooltip once you click Reply on the Google mailing service.

What makes it impressive is that it has different tones for you to choose from, whether it’s friendly, formal, or uninterested. You set up the tone you want, and the AI tool assesses the email, and creates a response. Additionally, it lets you choose a tone that acts as your default, and even link the tool with more than one Gmail account.

Aside from the initial difficulty in setting up the app, it’s actually very easy to use. The only restriction is that it only works as a Chrome extension, and is only available for Gmail. If you’re using other browsers or other emailing services, it does not work automatically. Even worse, it doesn’t load at all for certain services. This restriction limits who can use the convenient services it offers.

Must-have for regular email users

If you’re a student or a marketing professional who heavily relies on timely and relevant replies, Addy.ai - A.I. Email Assistant is a life-changing extension. It has a lot of features, but its strength lies in its ability to automate responses for you, which saves time and saves you the trouble of going through writer’s block. More importantly, it offers different tones to meet your different needs.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
